Where do we get the recipes from?
The recipes for your own special cookbook come from members of your group, family, friends and the broader community.


If the cookbook you publish for us contains approximately 180 recipes, what happens if we can’t get enough recipes of our own?
Don't worry. We have a database of 'tried & tested' recipes of our own which we can use to supplement the amount of recipes that you forward to us.


Should we be concerned about copyright regarding our submitted recipes?
Because good recipes, in many cases, have been handed down or exchanged many times, it is extremely difficult to know where the source came from However, it is wise not to copy straight out of a new recipe book unless stating for example ‘this recipe is from The New Idea Cookbook and is a family favourite. We find though that the vast majority of recipes do not pose any problem whatsoever.


How do you suggest we pay your costs of compiling and publishing our cookbooks when we are a fundraising group?
Advertising – pure and simple! We have found that local businesses, trades people, cafes, clubs, hotels etc. etc. will jump at the chance to place an advertisement in your book. When they place an ad in a local paper etc. their business only gets a few days exposure to the Public, whereby, an ad placed in your cookbook has an extremely long 'shelf life' and so, get great value for their advertising dollar.
The majority of businesses are also only too happy to support their local organizations!


Do we have to order a certain number of books?
Yes. The minimum order is 100 for books at a cost of $8.00.
Orders for between 50 and 100 books are possible for the cost of $8.50 per book.


What is the cost to us per book?
The cost is only $7.00. This cost covers typing, editing, layout, inclusions, paper, 250 micron front and back protective covers, printing and wire bound spiral loop binders (ensuring your book lies flat).


How much do we charge per book?
This is entirely up to you. (As a rough gauge, anything between $10.00 - $16.00).


How long does it take to receive our finished books?
This can depend on our sometimes heavy schedules. Because it is quite labour intensive, it may take up to 4 weeks or more. However, at times you may receive your books earlier than this. We will always keep in contact with you letting you know the approximate delivery date.


How much are the delivery charges?
For your convenience we prepay the cost of delivery that is then added to your invoice. To help offset this cost we give you FREE copies of your cookbooks.
We select the most dependable and most economical way to ship your books.
Also if preferred pick-up is possible.
